Dameting - dress for me

I just love Geilsk tweed.
And I would like to do a bigger project than the small baby-grandchild stuff.
So I bought tweed, red, for me. Planning for a Christmas dress.

Instead- this spring is so cold- that I wear the dress in May.

I love some of the details.
The neck....

Babyblanket 2 and 3

Several nephews and nieces are having their firstborn this late summer/early fall.
I have already knitted one baby blanket- now number 2 and 3 are ready to go.

I have used Geilsk tweed
Two colours
Knitted og knittingneedle 4,5
To coloured patent stitches
I think it gives the blanket softnes and some air
And the two sides looks very different
One of the blankets are knitted in T13 and T14 (link)
The other in T4 and T14

Rundkjørsel (Round-about)

I have not knitted much brioche, and never two-coloured.
So then a nice, but not too big project was a good start. From Geilsk I had the tweed I needed, and I found a free recipe that was just perfect.

Smutthull from Geilsk

I love knitting the stuff from Geilsk.
Fun - good quality yarn, recipes that normally makes sewing a rare thing.
Smutthull is a fun sweather for kids.
I made one in the smallest size - so it is ready for Yr when she gets to the colder weather in the fall.

I chose a rather light colour of the tweed- with white "smutthull" - may be I should have used several different colours on the smutthulls?
