Pink mittens

Planning to start communicating very short.

I made these to keep practising the magic loop, and knitting two at the same time. Starting form the top of the mittens.

I added rather long cuffs so the little one should not get cold when playing outside.
Good chance to practice some techniques.

Machine knitting socks

At Svithun husflidslag I have access to knitting machine. But I havent completely gotten comfortable using them, I still prefer the slower hand knitting process.

But - I was able to make a pair of socks in thin sock wool from Regia to my oldest daughter.

And them wanting to make a pair of male socks...I made them too big. Now looking for the male in the family with really big feet. Found him- so these will be added to his birthday gift. Sisu form Sandnes.

And for a friend of mine who don't knit for her birthday (And that was in January...) I have been neglecting this completely.

baby blanket

This is made of loads of leftover sisu yarn. 40-45 grams of each of the colours.
Casted on the knitting machine, used a pre punched standard punchcard.
Changed colours every now and then.

Afterwards- knitted around the edges to prevent the worst curls.
